On the morning of August 5, 2026, the Artificial Intelligence Center of Tra Vinh University co-organized a training program titled “AI Applications in Public Communication” for cadres of the Front Working Committee in Tieu Can Commune.
This initiative aims to build capacity in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to media and communications, thereby driving digital transformation and improving operational efficiency at the local level. The curriculum centered on key topics, including an overview of generative AI, AI applications for image and video generation, AI-assisted text drafting, and the principles of safe and effective AI utilization.
A prominent feature of the program was the hands-on practical sessions, where participants were guided in utilizing AI tools to develop communication content, design informational graphics, draft administrative documents, and leverage AI for daily tasks. The training enabled the cadres to quickly familiarize themselves with emerging technologies while deeply understanding the essential human role in verifying, evaluating, and maintaining accountability for AI-assisted outputs.
Through this program, participants acquired and applied practical knowledge and skills to utilize AI effectively, safely, and responsibly in their communication efforts. This initiative is part of the center’s broader commitment to supporting localities in enhancing digital capabilities and integrating artificial intelligence into public advocacy, ultimately contributing to the development of a modern, professional administrative framework that better serves the community.
